Rather the term paradise, as presented in the title, is more or less synonymous with the word ideology. So conclusively, the titular “gangsta’s paradise” would actually be an alternative name for the ghetto, if you will. And the title of this song is indeed sarcastic. For there is nothing contained within the lyrics which point to the idea of the ‘hood being enjoyable.
